Kory Varlen: The Lunar Eclipse Dragon Clans

November 18 @ 10:30 am - 5:30 pm

- $55

This meeting will be a HYBRID in person and online event.

The Lunar Eclipse Dragon Clans: Lunar Enlightenment for the 21st Century

If you are a professional astrologer, an introduction to the compelling characteristics of Lunar Saros Series eclipses will make your practice come alive in ways you have never experienced. And if you are simply a free-thinker who appreciates creative effort and innovative work in any field and carries a child-like curiosity and enthusiasm for new ideas, you are going to love this event.

Welcome to the world of lunar eclipses. The 47 Lunar Saros Series eclipses active since 1900 have been sorted, much like the houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, into their respective Fire, Earth, Air and Water Dragon Clans with each clan laying claim to a particular lunar eclipse series or tribe. Each Clan is a fascinating study in itself. Together, their 47 celestial tribes inject fresh and exciting new perspectives into our collective zeitgeist.

The day is dedicated to discovering your tribal allegiance and its underlying organizational dynamics. Every one of the 47 celestial tribes can be identified by a unique set of skills, traits and states of awareness. As such, their character and temperament are valuable assets helping us all to better navigate the expressways of our life.

The day will begin with a power point presentation that will introduce key elements of the Lunar Saros Series. Numerous charts will showcase the process of how to begin to appreciate their contribution to personality as well as predictive work. The afternoon features a unique, hands-on group activity where all participants will be offered the opportunity to learn the basic protocols for working with their pre-birth lunar eclipse aka PREBLE. The day will conclude with a commentary on the May 5 and October 28, 2023 lunar eclipses as well as a Q and A with any remaining time.

Since 2013, Kory has spent the past decade using her fifty plus years of life experiences to research the language of Lunar Saros Series eclipses in their capacity to function as distinct families in their own right, with their own special qualities, needs, characteristics, concerns, challenges, and gifts. Her journey has culminated in a ground-breaking book, Where Dragons Dance – Lunar Eclipse Pathways to Personality and Prediction which will be published in the fall of 2023 by Nicolas-Hays Inc. Kory is currently working on the next installment of Where Dragons Dance; a lay persons guide to the lunar eclipses of the 21st century.
