Chiron & Chariklo – Love Helps Heal Our Deepest Wounds
The minor planet Chiron is named after the mythological being nicknamed the Wounded Healer. It can show us where our own deep wounds are, how we acquired them, and where we can focus to deal with their great pains. But learning about our Chironic wounds is only half the story. Mythological Chiron fell deeply in love with a female named Chariklo. Her love did something for Chiron that he could not do for himself, it helped him heal from his deep dark pain.
Zane will share with you the great love story of Chiron and Chariklo, and then show you how the two work together astrologically to bring about our healing. He will give you some keywords to help you understand these two bodies. And then Zane will locate Chiron and Chariklo in the charts of some noted individuals and show how they manifest. And if time allows he will look at the how they work in the charts of some of the attendees to help understand their own personal healing.
BIO
Zane B. Stein is an American astrologer (although now lives in Australia) and is known particularly for his focus on Chiron; for his work in this field, he received the Canopus Award For Excellence in 1998. His book, Essence and Application: A View From Chiron, has been called truly groundbreaking. In 2022, he published Chiron – Healer and Wholemaker, which picks up where Essence left off. Michael Lutin called it “THE Chiron book for the 21st century.”
Zane has specialized in studying the many bodies discovered since Chiron, such as the many other Centaurean bodies such as Pholus, Nessus and Chariklo, and the bodies out past Pluto like Eris, Orcus and Sedna.
He has lectured in person and online throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, Ireland and Australia. He works with astrologer Lynette Malone to help grow the online community, Astrology Collective https://astrologycollective.org.
