The Harmony and Beauty of Venus and Her Star
Our planet Venus holds a special secret – her orbital cycle is truly one of the most beautiful patterns in our solar system. Together with Earth, Venus creates a 5 pointed star in 8 consecutive synodic cycles. The beauty and harmony of the Venus-Earth pattern is not unlike the description and meaning derived from ancient sky watchers and mythologists – a meaning which still today holds true.
In this workshop, we will closely examine the Venus synodic cycle, its retrograde pattern and meaning, AND its cazimi with the Sun. From this, a fuller picture of Venus emerges, adding an extra special dimension to natal Venus. Discovering the Star of Venus and her 5 Star Points, you will easily be able to map your own course with Venus, which provides a rich tapestry as the backdrop to your life and will ultimately lead you to your Heart Center to bring forth the Joy in your Life.
BIO
Arielle Guttman began her astrological studies in 1974 and has since authored five books in the field including the two-volume Mythic Astrology series with Kenneth Johnson (1993-2004) and The Astro*Carto*Graphy Book of Maps with the late Jim Lewis (1989). More recently she has authored the ground-breaking volume on Venus called Venus Star Rising: A New Cosmology for the 21st Century (2011, 2019) which introduces the 5 Venus Star Points.
Arielle has lectured and taught around the world for various astrological organizations and schools including UAC, NCGR, ISAR and OPA. Currently she is on the faculty at Kepler College. She co-founded the Santa Fe Astrology Forum in 1999 which brought astrologers together in large numbers for over a decade.
